Lawson Software Conference Highlights ''Simpler'' Approach to Business Software

Company unveils products focusing on employee productivity and talent management, premiers new animated video featuring Lawson character Lars Lawson

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 2008--Lawson Software (Nasdaq: LWSN) President and CEO Harry Debes opens the company's 2008 Conference and User Exchange (CUE) today, with nearly 5,000 people in attendance. Debes will highlight the launch of two new products that will help customers more easily work with the business information they want in the environment they want as well as strategically manage, develop and retain employees.
"We have a solid record of winning against other global ERP providers because we make it easier for customers to buy, install and use our business applications," said Debes. "We're delivering greater value for their ERP investment by giving customers more ways to simplify how they use business software. This helps them improve their productivity and company performance."

New products announced at CUE this year include Lawson Talent Management and Lawson Smart Office. With these new products, Lawson broadens its portfolio of products and services designed to help customers become "Simply Smarter," which is the theme of the conference.

Lawson also unveiled the latest installment of its animated online video series at CUE, which offers a humorous take on the company's "simpler is better" approach. The new video, "Well Done," features many of the same characters from Lawson's previous two online videos, including the animated star, Lars Lawson. The video and more information about Lawson news announcements at CUE are available at www.lawson.com/pressroomCUE2008.
