Maintenance Revenue Manager (Denmark, Norway and Finland)



Lawson Software, one of the world's largest ERP providers, has a current need for a Maintenance Revenue Manager to work on the Maintenance Business Management Team of the Support & Delivery Division. As one of Lawson's three lines of business, Support & Delivery manages the company’s maintenance revenue. To that end, our mission is to ensure customer satisfaction around our product by making sure that the products we deliver meet customer expectations, and by fixing them if something goes wrong. The position will be ideally located in Denmark or Norway.

Essential Functions:
The Maintenance Revenue Manager will be responsible for achieving all maintenance revenue targets for their assigned territory or group of customers. The specific duties of this position are:
  • Achieve annual and quarterly revenue targets within the assigned territory as well as help ensure the overall success of the team in achieving company forecasts.
  • Manage a revenue quota between 15€ -$20M€ annually.
  • Effectively negotiate and up-sell Premium Maintenance offerings and low priced agreements.
  • Effectively communicate all company messages, value propositions, etc. verbally and in writing.
  • Develop effective customer relationships and satisfaction during the maintenance renewal process.
  • Maintain appropriate industry and business knowledge.
  • Consistently accomplish all assigned work in a timely, accurate and quality manner.
  • Develop effective revenue generation strategies, tactics and processes for the assigned territory.
  • Consistently communicate effectively internally and externally
  • Develop effective relationships and tactics with other Divisions within Lawson
  • Effectively and efficiently manage the Department’s and company’s expenses.
  • Consistently demonstrate a high degree of communication effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate an effective ability to work within a team.

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Achieve annual and quarterly maintenance revenue targets.
  • Achieve annual and quarterly targets for up-selling premium products and renegotiating low priced agreements plus other selling initiatives.
  • Achieve targets renewal and cancellation rates for assigned territory.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree in business, accounting, finance, marketing, etc.
  • 6-10 years of Software or technology industry experience
  • 3-6 years of proven selling experience with special emphasis on Maintenance Agreement experience
  • Excellent communication, public speaking and interpersonal skills
  • Significant experience working with executive levels of management.
  • Significant marketing and selling experience with new products
  • High level of computer literacy. Must have significant proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA preferred
  • 10- 20 years of Software or technology industry experience
  • 5-10 years of proven selling experience with special emphasis on Maintenance Agreement experience
  • Proven track record of managing a territory and achieving revenue quotas

Work Environment:
  • General office environment
  • Periods of high stress will occur
  • Ability to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally
  • Phone and Public speaking required
