Regional Liaison Specialist-EMEA
The Regional Liaison Specialist will act as an ambassador for Lawson’s Information Technology Services (ITS) organization in EMEA, working with all kinds of questions regarding ITS responsibilities in a specific region. The role requires a good mix of technical ability and managerial skills.
Role: The Regional Liaison Specialist will coordinate all ITS activities in a specific region
- Acts as an ITS spokesperson for a specific region
- Works closely with the business to understand local business requirements
- Works closely with ITS Manager
- Is local resource for any on-going projects and activities
- For Helpdesk ticket resolution – 3rd line “hands on” resource for all technologies
- Manages local technical infrastructure in a specific region
Responsibilities
Documentation:
- Updating Asset Management database for the region
- Updating operational procedure documents
- Managing other location documentation
Local infrastructure stability:
- Schedules visits to non-staffed offices
- Ensures local infrastructure meets the specifications of Service Level Commitment
- Co-ordinates any replacements/repairs to equipment
Liaise With Local/Regional Business Representatives:
- Regular contact, scheduled visits with local business representatives (e.g., office managers, directors, department heads) to discuss ITS performance, local concerns, business requests
Local contracts and invoices:
- Leasing and maintenance agreements
- Invoice signing (approving invoices)
Purchase and spares:
- Hardware and software purchase not covered by central services
- Local spare parts
Local contractors:
- Printers
- PBX and Cell Phones
- Communication if applicable
- Hardware maintenance
New starter coordinator:
- Equipment like PC, Phone, Cell Phone, etc.
