Your assignment
You will be part of the Swedish Controlling Group and report to the manager of this group. The Controlling Group performs analysis of the Swedish income statement and balance sheet and handles all reporting to local business leaders and all internal reporting for consolidation purposes.
Lawson is currently in a transition period with many ongoing process improvement projects, both internationally and locally. The Controlling Group is actively leading or participating in many of these projects.
Lawson is listed on Nasdaq and we are reporting in accordance with US GAAP and have to be in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley rules.
Your role will be to mainly work with analysis of income statement versus budget and versus prior periods and provide support to our local business leaders. You will also participate in parts of the internal reporting. An important part of the role is to actively participate in various process improvement projects within the Finance organization.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to interact with many departments across Lawson worldwide.
Qualifications
We are looking for a person with strong analytical and social skills. You will be working in a changing environment and must be flexible and be able to perform well under a certain level of stress. Further we are looking for a person who is used to take own initiatives, work independently and takes full responsibility for assigned tasks. Lawson is an international organization and most of the work is performed in English and a requirement is that you have good English knowledge and is comfortable with performing the main part of the work in English.
Profile
- A University degree in Accounting/Business/Finance or equivalent business experience.
- Audit experience from “Big 4” or Controlling experience (3-5 years)
- Good communication skills both spoken and written in English.
- Basic knowledge of US GAAP and SOX.
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Good systems skills/accounting software package proficiency, preferably in M3 or S3.
