SCP Implementation
This two-day course will deepen your understanding of Supply Chain Planner (SCP). Participants will gain practical knowledge of the process of implementing and using SCP functionality. SCP is a powerful decision support tool for supply chain planning on the tactical and strategic levels. It improves your collaboration with partners in the supply chain, increases partner loyalty, reduces capital tied up in inventories, helps you make the necessary decisions on time, and improves your bottom line as well as that of your suppliers and customers.
What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you understand the more sophisticated features in SCP and the integration to Demand Planner and Lawson M3. It will give an understanding of how the supply chain strategies decided in SCP are executed in Lawson M3 and how it affects flows and processes.
This course will demonstrate:
· Minimum resource utilization
· Safety stock consumption
· Opportunity planning
· Postponed deliveries
· Import/Export to Lawson M3
· Import from the Demand Planner
· Impact on important flows and processes.
Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for end users who work with supply chain planning and/or rough cut capacity planning, who typically have more than twelve months of experience.
To benefit from this course we recommend that you have a basic understanding of:
· Planning and the concepts that relate to supply chains
· Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it.
You should also have the prerequisite knowledge covered in the following course:
