This one-day course will answer questions such as: What is a shop in Lawson M3? How can Lawson M3 be updated based on sales-ticket information coming from the shops? Which basic data managed in Lawson M3 can you export via the interface? In a retailed-oriented organization, how can an external system communicate with Lawson M3? The point of sales integration is a vital part of a retail-concept and it connects local and separate point of sales systems to Lawson M3. The combination of a specialized POS-system, to meet specific requirements from the counter sales and cash-payments process in high volume shops, with Lawson M3 provides a superior solution for the whole value chain.
What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to introduce you to the concept, scope and uses of point of sales in Lawson M3.
It includes an overview of the workflow, starting with “How to set up a shop” and ending with “How stock, finance and sales statistics in Lawson M3 can be updated with sales tickets information.” We achieve the course objectives by demonstrating the flows in Lawson M3, referring to practical examples and studying a test case.
This course will demonstrate how to:
· Set up a shop (important parameters)
· Export basic data to an external system
· Import sales ticket information from the shops
· Update stock data, sales statistics and financial data with information from the shops.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for people who work with sales order processing in Lawson M3 or require an overview/refresher.
To benefit from this course we recommend that you have a basic understanding of:
· Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it.
In order to cover as much as possible during the course, participants are required to read the sample case before coming to the course.
