Product Data Management Introduction (e)




This one-day course enables you to create and maintain the product information required for various administrative processes in manufacturing and distribution companies. By learning how to create, store and reuse information about your company’s products in the form of bills of material and routings, you will achieve a complete, well-functioning material management and production activity control system.

What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to teach you how to store and maintain information related to products, including bills of material and routings, using Lawson M3.

This course will demonstrate how to set up and maintain product data in terms of:
· Work centers
· Tables of queue and transit times
· Bills of material
· Operation and routings
· Product structures
· Calculations
· Analyses
· Simulations.

Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for end users who are responsible for creating and maintaining product information.

To benefit from this course we recommend that you have a basic understanding of:
· Lawson M3, especially supply chain execution, and how to navigate in it
· Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it.
