This one-day course enables you to get the most out of the manufacturing management process. Manufacturing Order Processing equips you with a series of components that help you reach your full potential when planning, executing and controlling your production in different environments. This, in turn, helps you to improve customer satisfaction, decrease inventory and retain a relatively stable workforce.
What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you understand how, according to a tactical manufacturing plan, Lawson M3 supports the operational manufacturing planning, the manufacturing execution and monitoring. It also gives you an understanding of the basic settings and demonstrates in which cases Multi-Site Planner (MSP), Advanced Production Planner (APP) and other Lawson M3 can interact.
This course will demonstrate how to:
· Create/Release (planned) manufacturing orders
· Schedule/sequence orders
· Reschedule/delete orders
· Manage order problems
· Issue order documents
· Report material issue
· Report operations
· Report scrap, by- and co-products
· Report receipt and inspection results.
Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for end users who work within the manufacturing process.
To benefit from this course we recommend that you have a basic understanding of:
· Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it
· Product structures and resources definitions, the concepts of material requirement planning (MRP), capacity requirement planning (CRP), reorder point (RoP), Just-in-Time (JIT) and make-to-order (MTO).
