DMP Implementation
This two-day course will deepen your understanding of Demand Planner (DMP). Participants will gain practical knowledge of the process of implementing and using DMP functionality. DMP enables you to decide how you can best use your resources to reduce capital tied up in inventories and maximize customer service levels, sales revenue and profitability.
What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to explain in more detail how to use and implement DMP. You will get detailed information about the most important processes and support how to use the functions of DMP. It qualifies you to manage an implementation of DMP, with some assistance from a technician to perform the complex network installation.
This course will demonstrate:
· Import of local database
· The total flow
· Project plans
· DMP database and tables
· Additional functionality.
You will need to do some follow-up practice on your own afterwards in order to maintain and enhance your DMP knowledge.
Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for end users who work with sales forecasting or sales budgeting and need to know all about DMP as well as how to implement it and use it practically.
To benefit from this course we recommend that you have a basic understanding of:
· Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it
· Datasets in Lawson M3 and Material Planning/Forecasting.
You should also have the prerequisite knowledge covered in the following courses:
· Forecasting Introduction
· DMP Introduction (including software prerequisites).
