Global Capable to Promise (e)




This one-day course focuses on how Global Capable to Promise (CTP) works in Lawson M3 and how it supports the daily order promising process. Global CTP provides more reliable delivery times by taking all restricted resources into account and exploring all alternative supply possibilities. Using Global CTP reduces uncertainties during order promising and reduces disturbances throughout the entire supply chain, from supplier to customer, improving your and your customers’ bottom line.

What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you understand the concept and the functionality of global CTP and supply models in Lawson M3.

This course will demonstrate how to manage:
· The supply model and alternative ways to supply
· Object, date and quantity control
· Delivery rules
· Prioritize between alternatives
· Distribution chain
· Customer order entry and simulations
· Kit items
· Delivery time at final destination
· Time zones.

This course Rough-Cut Capacity Planning will not be covered in detail in this course.

Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for end users who work with the order promising process.

To benefit from this course we recommend that you have a basic understanding of:
· Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it.

You should also have the prerequisite knowledge covered in the following course:
· Customer Order Processing—Introduction.
