This one-day course presents an overview of planning-related concepts in supply chain management, which can be used to lower costs and positively affect profit margins. You will understand what supply chain management is, its problems and objectives. You will understand the difference between supply chain management in general terms, supply chain planning and execution.
What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you briefly understand the areas supply chain management, supply chain planning as well as planning and control methods.
This course will demonstrate:

- The total cost concept
- Customer service
· Supply chain planning

The course does not cover concepts in supply chain execution and only briefly touches strategic supply chain management.

This course is recommended for end-users who work with planning or execution in logistics or production and who are new to supply chain management concepts or require a refresher.
Previous knowledge in production or logistics is a requirement to gain complete understanding of the course content.
