Project Management Concepts
This one-day course enables you to understand how and when the project management process should be applied in a business environment. It also provides you with an overview of how different kinds of industrial branches use project management so that you are better equipped to discuss project management issues with customers.
What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you understand the business concepts behind project-oriented businesses.
This course will demonstrate:
· An overview of terminology that is used in a project-oriented business
· An example of a project-oriented business—business characteristics, organizational structure and responsibilities
· An example of a project oriented business—The business process and activities
· A summary of the business process—Building up a project management process
· The strengths and weaknesses of project-oriented businesses.
Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for end users who work with project management in Lawson M3.
To benefit from this course we recommend that you have worked with at least one project management project. Before participating in the course, you must have read case 1, case 2 and the additional material concerning terminology in the pre-course material.
