Purchase Order Processing

M3 Purchase Order Processing eliminates routine work in your purchasing process.

M3 Purchase Order Processing (POP) provides you with an indispensable tool for your daily purchasing activities. It helps you to eliminate routine work so you can concentrate on more productive and profitable activities such as price negotiations, quality improvements and lead time reductions.

M3 POP supports all purchasing activities including identifying what to buy, requisitioning, supplier selection, pricing, ordering, monitoring, shipment advice, transport notification, goods receipt, quality inspection, put-away, invoice control and claim handling.

Each purchasing activity is individually configurable, offering flexibility for customization and automation of purchase processes. With extensive monitoring features, you have control over all purchasing activities and supplier delivery performance.

M3 POP supports all types of procurement from a single data source such as discrete orders, purchase requisitions, delivery schedules, services, subcontracting and repair orders.

Supplier selection, purchase prices, discounts and so on are predefined as inputs from M3 Strategic Purchasing, thus creating opportunities for efficient and streamlined execution within M3 POP.

Receipt management is an important part of the purchase process and POP offers configurable components for goods receipt, quality inspection, put-away and claim management. All of these components integrate with M3 Materials Management and M3 Accounts Payable.

M3 POP enables decentralized purchase decisions and provides flexible and intuitive requisitioning routines for stocked items, nonstocked items and services. In addition, purchase of services and subcontracting is easily executed either as an integral part of a manufacturing order process or as subcontracted products.
