This is a two hour Lawson Learning course, which will help you to understand the concepts, business benefits, processes, and functionality of the new functions within the Lawson M3 7.1 Purchasing module. This course will show you how to improve business efficiency when using collaborative applications to create purchase orders, manage inbound logistical tracking, and to view and manage purchase orders by item attributes.

This course will give you an overview of the new functionality offered in the M3 7.1 Purchasing module.
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the concepts and principles of Purchase Order Batch Entry in Lawson M3 and its integration to other modules and processes
- Apply conceptual knowledge of Purchase Order Batch Entry to business scenarios
- Demonstrate an understanding of the concepts and principles of Import Tracking in Lawson M3
- Demonstrate knowledge of how Import Tracking in Lawson M3 supports the process of managing inbound logistical tracking
- Demonstrate a knowledge of how to view and manage Purchase Orders by style and/or color

Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for new users with previous knowledge of Lawson M3 Purchasing process.
To fully benefit from this course, we recommend that you have:
- Previous knowledge of the Lawson M3 Purchasing process
- Successfully completed the Lawson Smart Client Introduction or otherwise achieved the equivalent knowledge

- Access to the Lawson Arena Education environment.
- Installed version of smart client
